Winsby Leyburn Joins Race Equality Centre in Fighting Hate
Winsby Leyburn believes community engagement is one of the most powerful ways to foster interpersonal understanding and improve our world. For this reason we are proud to partner with The Race Equality Centre (TREC) in Leicester.
Founded over 50 years ago, TREC is dedicated to using community empowerment, strategic communication, and advocating inclusivity to combat racism to assure that discrimination is socially unacceptable. Bringing people of diverse backgrounds together, TREC brings everyone together to make a real impact.
Related Activities
Winsby Leyburn recently sponsored a Leicester Law Society dinner to celebrate diversity, as Leicester is one of the most diverse communities in the country. The dinner featured entertainment from throughout the Leicester community, as well as speeches by Haseeb Ahmed, the Diversity Officer at NHS, and Lord Willy Bach, the Police and Crime Commissioner.
